Job Overview

This role will be responsible for managing  relationships with Key Corporate & Travel Agency Verticals. The individual will ensure achievement of revenue targets and customer service goals. The profile will also include developing new markets, sales data analysis, monitoring airline performances and making necessary recommendations to related internal stake holders on scope of expanding our reach. Identifying new business opportunities and representing the organization at official functions and networking events will also be  key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a Team reporting
  • Exceed Sales Targets assigned for the year
  • Business Development and initiatives to grow market share & revenues
  • Tap Key Travel Agency & Corporate Verticals
  • Knowledge of Competitor Activities and  analysis to secure rightful business share
  • Benchmarking of flights with competition airlines
  • Target CXO / Flier meetings and converting from Other Airlines
  • Mapping of corporate & travel agency accounts assigned
  • Conduct Regular monthly , quarterly & yearly reviews and keep track of sale trends of assigned corporations

  • Develop and execute Sales and Marketing plans for Ahmedabad and Rest of Gujarat Region
  • Prepare regular sales reports and initiatives to counter competition
  • Conduct Roadshows at corporate houses
  • Diversify and grow new business segments
  • Ensure compliance, timely report submissions, grow the corporate & new travel agency acquisitions
  • New Route Evaluation to grow network
  • Monitor & manage Credit facility for travel agencies  to prevent defaults
  • Increase footprint in Vistara Bridge enrolment and revenue
  • Organizing Events & marketing initiatives with Trade Bodies

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong Computer  skills covering MS Office systems
  • Great Communication – verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Networking - Facilitation & cross functional group moderation
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, Should be a good negotiator
  • Strategic and analytical thinker

Work Experience

  • Minimum 6-12 years’ experience in airline sales

Qualification

  • Graduate degree from a recognized university preferably with an MBA/PGDM

Eligibility

  • Must be at a level of Manager (2A) or one level lower than the position
  • Minimum tenure in the current role and level – 18 Months as of date of IJP and must have attained minimum performance rating of GP3 in the last appraisal
  • Must be “confirmed’’ in service
