Job Overview

The person will be responsible for defining the standards for project management. For gathering of relevant project data and to produce information to be presented for review by the management. Based on updates by projects leads related to multiple IT projects, responsible for tracking the overall status of IT Project Charter. Establishing Project Governance Structure & Implementing established policies, introducing policies where gaps like SLA measurement and penalty clause for non-performance, monitors, and controls to ensure the successful management and reporting of all IT/Business initiatives in the program.

Coordinate with various divisions/ departments to report project status & automate processes and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing both verbal and written communications regarding project status, risks, and issues
  • Evaluating and reporting on accomplishments to the IT PMO Task Lead and Monthly/ Weekly dashboard updates to Senior management
  • Coordinate internal teams and third parties/ vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop a detailed project portfolio to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, costs and Report; escalate to management as needed
  • Identify & participate in continuous improvement initiatives of policy and process framework
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Portfolio Management
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
  • Process enhancement and development
  • Perform risk management to minimize project delivery risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Project Status Reporting to CXO’s on Monthly/Weekly dashboard


  • Competence with MS Word, MS Excel, and Project (Visio and PowerPoint is preferred)
  • Ability to write/ summarize results and prepare deliverable packages
  • Strong leadership, planning, coordination, organization, time-management abilities and proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Sound Knowledge of PMP Methodology i.e. Planning, Execution, Reporting & Portfolio management
  • Independent, self-motivated, team player and high willingness to learn

Work Experience

  • 6-8 years of progressive experience
  • Experience in Project /program/ portfolio Management
  • Experience in Airline processes is preferred


  • Graduate from a recognised university (Preferably Computer Science or Engineering) with good analytical/presentation skills
  • PMP/ PRINCE II certification is preferred
  • Hands-on experience on or any other portfolio management tool will be an added advantage
