Job Overview

This role will be a part of planning and managing all station security operations as well as acting as Vistara’s ambassador and representative for all key local requirement and stakeholder.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the security procedures and attend meeting related to security issues and follow up on all operational incidents of the station
  • Obtain incident reports from the Security AMs to exercise effective functional control and raise the level of security counter measures. Also, to initiate action on any act of indiscipline/misconduct reported by the Security AMs
  • Perform other duties/ tasks assigned by the Regional Manager Security South & West and shall supervise the work of Security AMs/ Security Supervisors/ staff in the Shift
  • Shall render all possible assistance to other departments in disposing of security related passenger complaints and in ensuring on-time performance
  • Ensure security policies issued by BCAS/ Head Office are implemented in letter and spirit at the station
  • Liaise with Police authorities in cases of unruly passenger problems
  • Liaise with APSU/ ASG on matters pertaining to implementation of local security instructions
  • Ensure prevention of incidents of theft/ pilferage. Analyze losses and suggest suitable counter measures. Would also be responsible to carry out enquiry of such cases related to fraud/ loss/ damage of company property on instruction by Regional Manager Security– South & West
  • Will monitor, identify, and report security related cases along with all unusual occurrences to Regional Manager Security– South & West that deserve reward/ recognition on telephone and subsequently forward in writing

Skills/ Attributes:

  • Must be keen to further develop and enhance aviation security oversight and aviation security systems
  • Should have organizational and time management abilities and should be able to present complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Critical thinking, sound decision making and advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments is desirable
  • Should have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (esp. PowerPoint); e-learning software is an asset

Work Experience

  • Experience in the security department must be of 12 years and above


  • Graduate from a recognized university


  • Must be at a level of Sr. Executive (1B) or 1 level lower than the position
  • Minimum tenure in the current role and level – 7th April, 2022 and must have attained minimum performance rating of GP3 in the last appraisal
  • Must be “confirmed’’ in service
