Job Overview

This candidate would primarily be a digital content writer who writes, develops, edits, and publishes content and copy for a variety of digital platforms, including (but not limited to) websites, videos, email marketing campaigns, advertising campaigns, social media posts, infographics, whitepapers, and more.  Their primary goal would be to create messaging, marketing materials, and various forms of digital online copy that can be used to promote services, increase brand awareness, etc. should have experience in team management and coordinating with key stakeholders also should have a background in short-form content, social media marketing, as well as someone with a knack for digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write, edit and publish engaging posts for various social networks, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviors
  • Select appealing images and videos to complement text
  • Update our social media pages with compelling company news
  • Coordinate with internal teams to create advertising posts (e.g. Internal comms for internal/external and brand events, HR for recruitments posts, sales teams for destination launches and ancillary teams for product releases)
  • Pick cues from social trends & creatives to help solve business problems via effective communication
  • Work with in-house designer to regularly come-up with creative concepts for brand & tactical campaigns
  • Track and report on social media insights (traffic, engagement, shares, conversion rates)
  • Apply advertising techniques to boost brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Respond to questions and comments on our social media pages in a timely and accurate manner


Skills / Attributes

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Copywriter or similar role
  • Hands-on experience using various social media platforms to advertise
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Be in-sync with upcoming social media trends and evolution of audience
  • Familiarity with online paid advertising
  • Ability to deliver creative web content (text, image and video)
  • Excellent communication skills

Work Experience

  • Minimum 5- 7 years of work experience
  • Agency experience would be a preference


  • BSc in Marketing, Communications or relevant field from recognized university
