Asst. Manager - Corporate Planning

Job Overview

The candidate will be responsible strategic sourcing of fuel and fleet. It will involve coordinating documentation related to induction and redelivery of aircraft, fuel pricing and its impact on Vistara’s cost and ad-hoc analysis for senior management.

Key Responsibilities

Fuel:

• Analysis: Track the movement and supply of jet fuel (MOPS/MOPAG) and Brent Crude
• Pricing: Calculation and circulation of Jet Fuel Prices
• Procurement: Assist in contract evaluation and negotiation with suppliers

Fleet:

• Business case: Prepare business case analysis related to fleet acquisition and/or leasing
• Agreements: Assist in evaluation of aircraft related agreements
• Documentation: Responsible for arranging aircraft delivery/re-delivery related documentation

Projects:

• Analytics: Ad-hoc evaluations and analysis for senior management
• Presentations: Preparation of presentations and memos for senior management
• Research: Benchmarking and research for projects

Skills & Attributes

• Knowledge and experience in working on MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge and experience in financial research and analysis, benchmarking and KPI reporting
• Ability to understand business requirements and apply financial knowledge appropriately
• Should be a self-starter and pro-actively work to get tasks accomplished with minimal supervision

Work Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience preferably in the Airline Industry or in an Analytical related role.

Qualification

• Graduate from a recognized university. MBA/PGDM is preferred
