Asst. Manager - IT MRO

Job Overview

This role will be responsible for AMOS Application and AMOS mobile Support in compliance and would be responsible for management of aircraft configuration master data.

Key Responsibilities

• Login Creation / Re-Activation / De-Activation / Password Management
• Sourcing, control and management of aircraft configuration master data
• AMOS Application and AMOS mobile Support in compliance with Policies and Procedures, follow-up activities e.g. Root Cause Analysis
• AMOS User Access Management
• Change Management viz. Managing Patch Updates and Application Upgrades in coordination with IT and business stakeholders
• Automation of Processes and new AMOS processes implementation for enhancing Utilization of AMOS Application
• Coordinate with OEM (Swiss-AS) for support cases, imparting Training / modification / Consultancy 
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures
• Data transfer, import and export, and interfaces with other systems
• Holds the technical management role for AMOS Data Administration within the Engineering Department.
• Managing all AMOS functional change requests from the business including facilitating discussions with Swiss-AS, developing details functional specifications, coordinating testing and implementation.
• Deactivation of Aircraft
• Regular maintenance along with day-to-day issue resolution
• Self-Audit
• Follow Regulatory compliance and framework
• Performs ongoing control/monitoring data quality and integrity
• Analyze application functionality deficiencies reported by users and coordinate for resolution appropriately within agreed time
• Evaluate with key user’s participation, the new Applications software versions for suitability to company and facilitate the upgrade to its release
• Migration to New Stable Release / New Patch Update
• Provide direction for Engineering IT solutions that will continuously give an advantage to the organization in terms of business efficiency and improved decision making

Skills & Attributes

• Proficient experience with AMOS or other aircraft maintenance systems.
• Ability to work on own initiative, whilst contributing effectively as part of a team
• AMOS system configuration, Workflow, AIM, Schedular, report designer
• Setting up interfaces with SAP, Flight Ops and other applications using AIM
• Proven Project & Change Management skills
• Proven Business Analyst skills with the ability to document existing business processes, define business requirements and design solutions.
• Good interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills, and capable of dealing with people at all levels
• Willing to travel and working in shifts/odd hours (if required)
• Independent, self-motivated, team player and high willingness to learn
• Ability to prioritize work & meet tight deadlines

Work Experience

• Minimum 3- 6 years of relevant experience

Qualification

• Graduate from recognised university
