Job Overview

This role is primarily for End-to-end Payroll Processing / Payout / Accounting, End to end Statutory compliances Management (PF, ESI, LWF & Income Tax), Payroll Year end activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll including required and voluntary deductions and variable inputs
  • Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies
  • Complies with income tax law, Labor law state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
  • Maintains payroll information by designing systems, directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data
  • Update’s payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, deductions, income tax liabilities
  • Pays employees via issuance of paychecks or electronic transfers to bank accounts on monthly basis
  • Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, gratuity
  • Managing Income tax declarations and proof of Investment submission by employees as per Income tax law every year
  • Managing Employee help desk for payroll and income tax related queries
  • Sound knowledge of payroll related compliances like PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Gratuity & Income Tax
  • Knowledge of issues related to employees on EPFO portal like KYC Approvals, PF transfer approvals etc.
  • End to end management of employee benefits like reimbursement claims as per policy.
  • Processing of Vendor invoices for Medical Insurance and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Administration of company car lease and processing of vendor invoices.

Skills & Attributes

  • Should have strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Should have good working knowledge of MS-Office, Outlook etc.
  • Sound knowledge of Success Factor and S4/HANA for payroll processing. Should have good working knowledge related to configuration changes in SAP & S4HANA
  • Good understanding of TDS, Employee Income Tax Slabs, Exemptions, and deductions available under different sections of Income Tax Law
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting within different departments, cross function, and management team
  • Good communication skills for communicating with support personnel and management

Work Experience

  • Minimum 6 years of experience


  • Graduate from recognized university
