Protect the financial interests of the company. Report expenses for the department

Key Responsibilities

Financial

• Financial Controller for Inflight Services Department
• Oversee data collection as per agreed formats
• Analyse and provide accurate reports
• Coordinate all finance related processes
• Oversee preparation & submission of budgets
• Provide insights on performance between actual v/s budget
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders - Finance, Procurement, Legal & Stores for operational & financial reporting
• Coordinate with the ‘Menu Development’ team for menu specifications & pricing
• Report early trends on cost escalation; advise corrective measures

Tender & Contracts

• Coordinate tender & contract activities for Inflight Services
• Apply best ethical practices for issuance of RFP, RFQ process
• Review tender documents
• Review reverts and prepare financial impact to the business
• Manage expectation between Vistara & Caterer’s legal team on contracts

Skills & Attributes

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently, a good leader as well as team player
• Attentive to details, enterprising
• Candidates should have demonstrated in their current role, a good track record and strong understanding of policies & procedures
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Work Experience

• Minimum 5 years of job-related experience within the airline, airport or ground handling industry with two years in a managerial position

Qualification

• Graduate from a recognized university
