Sr. Manager - Finance & Accounts

Job Overview

This position is responsible for supporting the management of accounts and accounts payable of the Company, and development of processes within the department. This role should review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment along with performing Accounts Payable/Inventory related financial closing activities with necessary management reports and analytical schedules. This role also include task related to preparing Vendor Reconciliation, ensuring completeness of cost for allocated area and reverting to the query of department/Vendors for accounts payable related area. This role shall include performance of scheduled and unscheduled tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Knowledge of Indian GAAP
• Ensuring adherence to revenue recognition norms
• Ensuring monthly financials book closure and preparation of financial as well as operating MIS
• Ensure strict adherence of financial systems policies & processes; Projecting Cash flow, ensuring that accounting processes have the required internal controls, desired documentation and are robust enough to support information requirements for decision making.
• Co-ordinate with external agencies for completing the outsourced work and review the same
• Improvement of processes and application of IT
• Work extensively on SAP, other related software implementation and its development
• Review and ledger scrutiny of accounts on fortnightly basis
• Audits and reporting
• Completing the audits – statutory, internal audit and tax audits
• Strong coordination skills and ability to multi task
• Analytical work on need basis
• Attitude & ability to operate with confidence & diligence in pressuring situations

Skills & Attributes

• Proficiency in MS Office including MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills Good in Relationship & Stakeholder Management
• Excellent Problem-solving Approach
• Ability to work in a dynamic team

Work Experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience in similar role
• Aviation background is preferred

Qualification

• Graduate or Postgraduate from a recognized university C.A. –Intermediate, would get preference
