Job Overview

This role will be a part of the Corporate Planning & Analysis function, responsible for monthly financials book closure and preparation of financial as well as operating MIS

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper accounting of inventory and reconcile inventory, consumption, and book accurate expenses
  • Ensure proper controls to record all movements, scrap, and utilization of inventory
  • Ensure proper controls over timely physical verification of inventory as required under the companies Act
  • Must have experience of managing Long Term Complex Business Contracts / Agreements related to business operations (for eg. Aircraft Financing & Maintenance related agreements)
  • Sound knowledge of best accounting practices & processes related to areas like Inventory, Fixed Assets, Operating & Finance Leases, Payables, Long Term Business / Equipment Contracts - terms implementation & compliances, A1 & A2 Import Payments, IDPMS Process, Etc.
  • Experience of independently & effectively dealing with different business functions

  • Experience of developing financial business case / models for proposed transactions / contracts
  • Attitude & ability to operate with confidence & diligence in pressuring situations
  • Provide management with advice on the financial implications of business activities / contracts
  • Sound knowledge of Ind AS and should have operational experience of working on SAP / ERPs
  • Experience of reviewing & approving transactions & payments (physical docs & ERP) related to procurement of goods & services
  • Experience of evaluating direct & indirect tax implications for transactions (with understanding of Goods & Services Tax)
  • Effective communication skills and ability to understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
  • Construct & monitor reliable Internal Financial & Operational controls system for finance processes
  • Provide accurate & timely month end and year end reports to management and carry out account reconciliation and variance analysis of related functions
  • Ensuring timely preparation of audit schedules and supporting internal & external audits
  • Own the process and implement operational best practices in relation to company’s documentation

  • Hands on experience in excel and knowledge of SAP/ERP          
  • Good presentation and communication skills – knowledge of MS Excel, word and power point

  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant
